The FusionOps Solution
What is FusionOps?
FusionOps is a cloud-based analytics application that provides 360° visibility into supply chain and operations business performance with hundreds of pre-built, best practice dashboards and reports. FusionOps combines SAP and supply chain expertise with an intuitive and powerful user interface that enables business users to have access to all the information they need to improve supply chain performance, in a single day, without burdening IT.
What makes FusionOps different than what I'm doing today?
We understand that you're struggling with complicated spreadsheets, inflexible tools and long wait times to get information that will help you to make informed decisions. As an example, running a purchase price variance (PPV) or on-time, in full (OTIF) report can take hours with traditional approaches and provide very limited insight.
FusionOps is different. FusionOps is a pre-built application that turns complicated raw data, stored in your SAP and other systems, into best practice metrics that run amazingly fast and provide 360° visibility into your supply chain.
How many pre-built reports, dashboards and KPIs does FusionOps provide?
There are nearly 1,000 pre-built, best practice dashboards, reports and KPIs provided out-of-the-box covering the entire supply chain. End users can quickly and easily fine tune any of the pre-built dashboards to match their requirements.
What areas within the supply chain are covered?
FusionOps provides visibility for:
- Order Fulfillment
- Purchasing and Procurement
- Inventory
- Production Planning
- MRP
- Supplier Performance
- Quality
- Billing, A/R & A/P
- Sales
Dashboards for additional functional areas are released on an ongoing basis.
Can I create my own reports and dashboards?
Yes. A key feature of FusionOps is the ability for users to create, customize and personalize their own reports and dashboards. The very easy-to-use report building features help you quickly build just the report you need and easily select charts to visualize your data.
Can I drill down into the pre-built reports to get to the root of a problem?
Yes. A key feature of FusionOps is the ability to drill down in multiple ways – by customer/supplier/product, etc. to quickly and easily uncover issues in your supply chain and operations.
Do I need IT help to use FusionOps?
IT assistance is only needed for the initial setup process which takes between 1 and 2 hours. After that, everything is done by business users themselves.
How much does FusionOps cost?

FusionOps for SAP and Other Data Sources
Can FusionOps connect to my other systems, beyond SAP?
Yes. In addition to SAP, FusionOps integrates flat files, Oracle databases, salesforce.com, Business Warehouse data, and other data sources. Many customers start by integrating their SAP system, which enables the immediate delivery of dashboards and reports, then add other data sources to enrich their view of information, typically within a few weeks.
My SAP system is heavily customized, can FusionOps still provide dashboards?
Yes. Almost all SAP systems are customized in one way or another; FusionOps provides dashboards based on the core tables that rarely change. FusionOps can also accommodate your custom tables and columns - please

We run a global supply chain with many instances of SAP – will FusionOps work in our environment?
Yes. FusionOps can connect to different instances of SAP within one company and provide division/plant/organization specific views of information.
What impact will FusionOps have on my SAP system?
FusionOps integration and extraction technology has little to no impact on customers' SAP systems.
How frequently are dashboards updated from my company's data?
FusionOps dashboards can be updated anywhere from daily to every few minutes depending on business requirements. End users can create new metrics and perform data analysis on near real time data.
Getting Started
How long will it take me to get started?
It takes approximately one to two hours of IT time to integrate your SAP system with FusionOps. After that, FusionOps will automatically extract your data and provide immediate access to nearly 1,000 pre-built dashboards and reports. Some customers choose to create their own analytics using FusionOps that replace existing KPIs and reports developed with other methods, before going live with their user community.
What will my IT department need to do?
Very little. FusionOps was designed to reduce the burden on IT departments by putting powerful supply chain analytics, with dashboards, reports and KPIs, right in the hands of the supply chain business user. Your IT department or SAP administrator may have initial involvement to provide access to your SAP system. The rest is managed by the FusionOps application without further IT involvement.
Can I try FusionOps before buying?

FusionOps is unable to access any unauthorized data.
How is data secured when being transmitted to the cloud?
FusionOps has developed patented integration technology to securely access enterprise systems and transmit the data to the cloud using the industry standard SSL protocol without requiring any firewall changes or VPN tunneling.
