Prabhu Goel is an early stage investor active in several startup companies. Some of his first round investments include, Rightworks (acquired by i2), Exodus, Versata, Synplicity, and Everest Design. Dr. Goel was Division President and Director of Cadence Design Systems, Inc., the world’s largest EDA software company. He was also the Founder/CEO/Chairman of Gateway Design Automation Corporation, which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems in 1989. Prior to Gateway, Dr. Goel held management and technical positions at IBM and Wang Labs. At IBM, he received several Invention Achievements Awards and the IBM Corporate Award for Outstanding Innovation. In 1990 he was recognized as an Entrepreneur of the Year in New England. Goel graduated from IIT Kanpur and received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1974. Dr. Goel is Founder of Foundation for Excellence Charity and Founding Charter Member of TIE.
Kamil Hasan is a General Partner of Hitek Ventures. He is an active investor in start-up companies in the internet, e-commerce, telecommunications, and enterprise software areas, and currently holds a portfolio of 30 such companies, and he is on the Board of Directors of several emerging technology startups. Dr. Hasan received a M.S. degree from M.I.T. and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, and has held teaching positions at both I.I.T Delhi and Stanford University. Dr. Hasan is actively involved with non-profit and charitable organizations, including The Hasan Family Foundation.
Ram is a seasoned veteran of enterprise electronic commerce and supply-chain management with over 25 years of executive management experience from KPMG Consulting and Amdahl Corporation. At KPMG Consulting, Ram was a senior partner with clients such as Hewlett-Packard and GE Capital. Ram’ s entrepreneurial spirit and drive has led him to co-found FusionOps Corporation and drive the company’ s initial business plan, financing, management team and product strategy. Ram has an MS in Computer Science from Mississippi State and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, India.
Raj Jaswa is the CEO and President of Dyyno, and currently serves as an outside director of AppStream. He served as CEO and President of Selectica from its inception in 1996 through July 2002. Through January 1996, Mr. Jaswa served as President of OPTi Inc (Nasdaq: OPTI), which he co-founded in 1988, leading the sales, marketing, and strategy/ business development efforts. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jaswa worked for Chips & Technologies, Intel, and GE. Mr. Jaswa has a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai, an M.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and an M.B.A. from Stetson University, Deland, Florida.
